Manufacturing process

A manufacturing process (also known as a production process) is a standardized workflow for the manufacture of a product. It includes all steps from the procurement of raw materials to the finished product.

A typical production process for filling machines includes:

  • Planning and construction
  • Material procurement
  • Production of the individual parts
  • Assembly of the modules
  • Final assembly of the machine
  • Tests and quality control
  • Delivery and commissioning

Modern manufacturing processes are characterized by lean manufacturing principles in order to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
