Filling machines for the food industry
Gustav Obermeyer is mainly active in the food industry with filling lines for tubes, special machines for tube bottles and filling lines for small bottles. Ketchup, mayonnaise, also in two-colour filling, butter, mustard, fish paste, almost all imaginable foods are filled by our tube filling machines. In many cases, hot filling with complete encapsulation of the filling station and temperature monitoring is also required. We also have proven solutions for this. Even a two-colour filling of ketchup and mayonnaise is no special challenge for us. In the pet food sector, too, you will find numerous tube filling machines from Gustav Obermeyer, whether cat food or dog sausage in tubes or even in the veterinary sector, which often has stricter requirements for GMP design than the human sector. Like all our machines, the machines in the food industry are manufactured to a high quality, robust and resistant design.
And since we are mainly working with tube fillers in the food industry, we have developed a special version of the TU91 (for metal or PE/laminate), which is probably the only tube filling machine worldwide that can be cleaned with gushing water.
Food supplements in the food industry
In the field of pharmaceutical food supplements, Gustav Obermeyer is mainly to be found with filling machines for liquids in vials, supplemented by many specialities such as filling pills and powder. The rotary transfer machines such as the AL31FL or AL51FL and our oval filler AL110OV are worth mentioning here. These machines are used in the various stations or even stand-alone machines such as the GSM500 and are particularly suitable for pharmaceutical-related food supplements. At Orthomol GmbH in Langenfeld, for example, we have already installed four complete lines for filling, sealing, pill filling, packaging and sealing in cartons.
Luxury foods in the food industry
Although we are mainly specialists in the filling of liquid and pasty products, we have produced machines in a very special branch of the food industry where the filling of powder and pieces is necessary. In Denmark, for example, Gustav Obermeyer machines and complete lines for the filling of chewing tobacco and so-called snus in pouches are available, consisting of multihead weighers or auger feeders, special versions of our GSM500 for the towing transfer of lids, check weighers and handling for placing lids on the lids. In the field of snuff tobacco – who does not know the glacierprise – we developed and manufactured special lines for filling powder into special containers as well as for weight control.
Gustav Obermeyer plants for the food industry
Especially our tube filling machines TU60, TU80 and the TU91 with splash water protection, specially developed for the food industry, are used in the food industry for a wide range of products. In addition, we also manufacture special machines of so-called tube bottles based on our tube fillers – who does not know the Bautzner mustard in the yellow bottle. For liquid filling, especially in the area of food supplements, our rotary transfer machines based on the AL31 and, of course, our oval machine AL110OV, which can handle 100 vials per minute with almost every conceivable challenge, and our tray packer for vials, the KA101, should be mentioned in particular.
