We focus on high-precision filling systems for tubes, specialized machines for tube bottles, and filling systems for small vials and shaped bottles. All of our systems are designed for maximum quality, robustness, and durability in daily production use.

Our tube filling machines process virtually every conceivable food product safely and hygienically. They are used worldwide for a wide variety of viscosities and product categories:

  • Delicatessen Products & Spreads: Ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, butter, fish pastes, and spreads (including those filled while hot).
  • Precise two-color filling (e.g., ketchup and mayonnaise side by side in a tube).
  • Pet Food & Veterinary Medicine: Filling cat food or dog sausage into tubes. For the veterinary sector, we manufacture in accordance with the strictest GMP requirements, which often exceed those of human medicine.

And since we primarily work with tube fillers in the food industry, we offer a special version of the TU91 with an easy-clean design (for metal or PE/laminate), which is the only tube filling machine that can be cleaned with a water spray.

Dietary Supplements in the Food Industry

In the field of nutraceuticals and pharmaceutical-grade dietary supplements, Gustav Obermeyer offers flexible filling and packaging solutions. In addition to the precise dosing of liquids into small bottles and vials, we also reliably handle complex combinations such as the filling of pills and powders.

Machine systems proven in the field:

  • Rotary transfer machines (e.g., AL51FL): Compact, high-precision filling of vials and liquid media.
  • TU110 Oval Filler: Flexible cycle timing for multi-stage filling and capping processes.
  • Special-Purpose & Single-Function Machines (e.g., GSM500): Standalone modules designed specifically to meet the stringent requirements for pharmaceutical-grade dietary supplements.

For example, we have already implemented four complete packaging lines for Orthomol GmbH in Langenfeld. These turnkey systems handle the entire process: from the precise filling of liquids and the dosing of pills to sealing, packaging, and cartoning.

Enjoyment in the Food Industry

Although we specialize primarily in the filling of liquid and paste-like products, we have manufactured machinery for a very specific segment of the food industry that requires the filling of powders and chunks. Consequently, particularly in Denmark, machines and entire production lines from Gustav Obermeyer are used for filling chewing tobacco and so-called snus in pouches, consisting of multi-head weighers or screw feeders, as well as special versions of our GSM500 for the transfer of lids via a drag mechanism, checkweighers, and lid-placement systems. In the field of snuff—who isn’t familiar with the “Gletscherprise”?—we developed and manufactured specialized lines for filling powder into special containers as well as for weight control.

Especially our tube-filling machines TU60/80, and the TU91 with splash protection are used in the food industry for a wide variety of products. In addition, we also manufacture special machines for so-called tube bottles based on our tube fillers—who isn’t familiar with Bautzner mustard in its yellow bottle? For liquid filling, particularly in the dietary supplement sector, our rotary transfer machines, such as the AL55 and, of course, our oval machine TU110 , which can handle 100 vials per minute while overcoming almost any conceivable challenge, and our vial tray packer, the KA101.
