TU91 PE DK - Tube filling machine (long-neck tube/microclyster) for low-viscosity products in the pharmaceutical sector (90/min)
The TU91 PE DK is a specialized tube filling machine designed for processing low-viscosity and alcoholic products into long-neck tubes or micro-enemas. The system was specifically developed to meet requirements where high speeds and precise dosing of liquid media are paramount.
The tube filling machine for long-neck tubes achieves a throughput of approximately 90 tubes/min (single-lane; in a two-lane configuration, up to 160 tubes/min are possible). Despite the high cycle rate , a filling accuracy of ± 0.5% is guaranteed. A mechanical system optimized for low-viscosity products ensures that the product does not slosh even during rapid movements, which guarantees clean sealing processes.
GMP, hygiene and cleaning speed
Thanks to optional ATEX compliance, the system is suitable for the safe filling of alcoholic and highly flammable products. GMP- and FDA-compliant data integrity in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11 ensures the necessary legal certainty in documentation. This safety package is complemented by integrated rapid-cleaning technology, which not only ensures the highest level of process hygiene but also effectively minimizes setup times and downtime.
The TU91 PE DK is controlled via a 17″ touch display with integrated user and recipe management. The system can also communicate seamlessly with downstream machines.
Technical highlights
Drive & mechanics
- Loi Liquide technology: Cam-controlled 12-station rotary indexing table with movement sequences optimized for low-viscosity products to prevent sloshing effects at up to 90 tubes/min.
- Gentle handling: soft-touch guiding and specialized tube holders with integrated ejector protect sensitive surfaces.
- Durability: Cam-controlled work stations and automatic central lubrication (H1 fluid grease) ensure low-wear continuous operation.
Dosing accuracy & quality assurance
- Precision filling: Filling accuracy of better than ± 0.5% (standard deviation for very small quantities approx. 0.01 g).
- Integrated sensor technology: double pharmaceutical code scanning for alignment and code checking as well as air bubble detection in the product.
- Discharge: Highly dynamic, separate good/bad discharge with torsion-free discharge via hose coils.
Hygiene & maintenance
- Minimal contact surfaces: Only 6 parts in contact with the product per pump (approx. 325 cm² total surface area) for extremely short cleaning times.
- Fast service: Tool-free adjustment of the feeders and quick-change pump units (autoclavable).
- GMP design: Line-clearance-optimized machine design with transparent covers for maximum process visibility.
Control & integration
- Compliance: Data integrity in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11 including audit trail, message logger and automated PDF batch report.
- Smart Stop: Intelligent communication with downstream packaging machines to prevent product loss during line stops.
- Flexibility: Scalable filling volumes from 0.5 to 300 ml and optional design for metal tube processing.
