Packaging machines

A packaging machine is a technical system or device that completely or partially wraps goods with a packaging material. Packaging machines can be used as individual stations or as part of a packaging line.

Typical packaging processes:

  • Film packaging (shrink film, stretch film)
  • Cardboard packaging (outer carton)
  • Bag packaging
  • Blister packaging
  • Vacuum packaging

Packaging machines are used in conjunction with filling systems to package the filled containers for transportation and sale. Modern packaging machines work fully automatically and are often integrated into the production line.
