Site Acceptance Test

A Site Acceptance Test (SAT for short) is the test of a device or system at the customer’s installation site. This test takes place after installation and before final acceptance.

The SAT comprises the following examinations:

  • Function test of all components
  • Performance test under real conditions
  • Safety check
  • Integration into existing systems
  • Test run with original material
  • Documentation of the test results

Only after a successful SAT is the system accepted by the customer and becomes his property. The SAT is important to ensure that the system functions properly in the real environment.
