Our production now runs on solar power and battery storage!
A modern photovoltaic system has recently been installed on the roof of our company building, which enables us to use self-generated electricity directly in our production. This makes a lot of sense, especially in our one-shift operation: we work during the day – exactly when the sun is shining and electricity is being produced. Supported by a battery storage system, we can also use the energy generated when the sun is no longer shining.
We have also installed a wallbox that is available to both our employees and our customers. This means that the solar power generated can be used not only for our machines, but also for charging electric vehicles.
This investment will make us more independent and increase the energy efficiency of our production – a forward-looking step for our company!
