In 2025, Gustav Obermeyer was once again participated as an exhibitor at FACHPACK, the European Trade Fair for Packaging, Technology and Processing, in Nuremberg. Our booth’s eye-catcher was the latest version of our tube filling machine TU80 with its new, optional lighting concept. This not only allows to emphasize the high quality of the machine and the attached control cabinet in the exhibition environment, but also offers advantages in the production environment, such as particularly bright illumination during changeovers or the clear display of the machine status from afar using colored lighting.
However, our TU80 didn’t just look good at the trade fair; it was also put into action on site. Live at FACHPACK, we filled high-quality hand care into Gustav Obermeyer tubes and distributed them among our visitors. Given the rather cool weather at the end of September, this help for dry hands was very well welcomed.
We were able to adjust the servo-controlled filling processes from any position at our booth using a tablet PC. While this option will rarely be used in production with our compact TU80, the flexible operation from different positions can offer real benefits for plants systems such as our tube filling machine TU110 or the bottle filling machine AL110.
In addition to the TU80, we also displayed some smaller machines such as our filler FM10 or a tube inspection device, components like a dosing screw from our powder filling machine AL55 FL PD or one of our highly accurate rotary piston pumps, as well as samples providing an overview of the tubes, jars, bottles, vials, etc. filled on our systems.
But, of course, you could not just admire our machines as in an exhibition. FACHPACK gave us the opportunity to engage in personal discussions with existing partners and exchange ideas about current and future projects, to further advance projects in the planning phase, to establish new contacts, and to outline potential solutions to current challenges using Gustav Obermeyer filling and packaging technology.
